Five on Friday: Happy Holidays 2021

Tamales, posole, pie, Chinese food, ponche, challah, pasteles, cannolis, cuernitos... many different foods and drinks define the holiday season for all of us at MCN. This week, in recognition that the holidays can be challenging, lonely, or stressful, as well as joyful and connecting, we shared our holiday traditions to help mentally and emotionally prepare. The discussions mostly turned toward food. What are your most common holiday dishes? We hope this season is filled with your favorites. Weekly Win: Claire enjoyed this open-access perspective piece in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, that finds that “the health benefits of a low-carbon society are more substantial and more numerous than previously realized and should be central to policies addressing climate change."
