We made it to Friday after another very full week here at Migrant Clinicians Network! Here are this week’s five articles on health topics of interest that we thought you’d enjoy, chosen by MCN staff members.

1 Mental Health of Migrants Impacted by Policy

Alma in Massachusetts shared an NPR segment entitled, “Mental Health of Migrants,” which interviews a mental health professional on the ruling of a federal judge this week that says that the federal government must provide mental health services to families affected by the Trump administration's zero-tolerance immigration policy. “The system lacks professionals that speak the languages, that have the training and the experience in working with these kinds of issues,” she says.

Weekly Win: Alma also shared “Migrant Workers Become Award-Winning Napa Winery Owners,” celebrating Ceja Vineyards -- perhaps a good wine choice for holiday dinner host gifts?
