mcn five on friday

July is prime picnic time. What do you have in your basket? After you spread out the blanket and the fixings, you can take a minute to relax and read some updates in health justice for the mobile poor, as recommended by MCN staff.

Candace, Specialist in Clinical Systems and Women’s Health, shared the new book, “Dreams and Nightmares / Sueños y Pesadillas,” in which author and refugee Liliana Velásquez recounts her harrowing journey away from violence in Central America, through Mexico, and finally to the US, where she seeks asylum as an unaccompanied minor.
