Upcoming Webinar “Trauma-Informed Care: Behavioral Health in the Primary Care Setting"
Next Wednesday, June 24th, Migrant Clinicians Network will host a free webinar, entitled, “Trauma-Informed Care: Behavioral Health in the Primary Care Setting,” presented by MCN’s Deliana Garcia, MA, Director of International Projects, Research, and Development.
Del will present some of the common manifestations of behavior health and/or trauma, in a primary care setting, after which Del will address effective strategies to address such behavioral health concerns in mobile and other underserved populations. This session will provide participants with new ways of thinking about trauma, behavioral health, and possible interventions, and will provide participants with tools for clinics to help people develop resilience by providing trauma- informed and culturally competent services and care.
The webinar is scheduled for 10am PST/1pm EST. Read the complete webinar description, and register for the webinar, on our Upcoming Webinars webpage. Can’t make it on Wednesday? This webinar will be archived for later viewing on our Archived Webinars page. Additional information on behavioral health in mobile populations can be found on our Behavioral Health page.
