Welcome back to Five on Friday! Avian flu, or H5N1, has been detected in eight people this year, four of which were exposed by working with on dairies, and four involving chickens. There may be up to 70 suspected human cases of H5N1 across the United States. But avian flu isn’t the only threat. Heat and pesticides continue to endanger farmworkers.
