MCN’s New COVID Resource Hub and Updated COVID Resources
With a deceleration in the fast-changing world of COVID-19, MCN has been able to reassess the accessibility of our COVID-19 resources. MCN has redesigned how clinicians and others can access our resources through the creation of a new Resource Hub, available in English and Spanish. MCN has also updated countless resources to reflect new dose, testing, isolation, ventilation, and other recommendations.
The new Resource Hub has incorporated new and intuitive navigation strategies to make it easier for users to find resources they need. The hub has been converted to be image-based, with each resource or set of resources having a corresponding image. Additionally, each resource link notes the language or languages the resource is available in. The Hub also utilizes appealing colors and engaging design to improve the user experience.
MCN has also re-organized resources into new topic categories, including vaccine resources, population-specific resources, respirators and masks, mental health and well-being, tools against misinformation, community engagement, ventilation, and guidelines for employers. While the hub includes links to 313 MCN resources and nearly 40 links to resources from other organizations, many of the resources can also be used for other health areas such as protection against other infectious diseases, and others can be edited to apply to any topic area.
Beyond the hub, many of MCN’s COVID materials have been updated in recent weeks and months using funds from Pfizer, the National Resource Center for Refuges, Immigrants, and Migrants, and National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). Readers can find the updated resources below:
