Extreme heat kills more people than hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, and lightning combined. As climate change becomes more severe it is predicted that extreme heat days and heat-related deaths will increase substantially. There is a growing need for strategies and resources for clinicians and health centers on the front lines of our climate crisis.
Join NACHC and MCN in our four-part webinar series as we speak to health center representatives and experts from the CDC, Office of Climate Change and Health Equity, Emory University, MCN, and NACHC to better understand the ways in which heat and a changing climate are impacting our communities’ health.
