1. Amy, Director of Environmental and Occupational Health, stepped away from her weeklong vacation to send in KQED’s California Report follow-up on a recent pesticide poisoning: “Dole, Driscoll’s Tied to Watsonville Chemical Incident That Sickened Farmworkers.”


2. Jessica, Grant Writer, enjoyed the New York Times journalists’ report after they followed ICE agents in Southern California for a day, reporting the stories of those detained as well as the agents’ perspectives.
