This month, we celebrate the one year anniversary of Migrant Clinicians Network’s External Advisory Board, which we established to promote cross-disciplinary collaboration, and to give expert advice on community based participatory research and the development and expansion of MCN programs. 

During the course of its first year, the EAB offered a wide range of expertise to further MCN’s mission to advance health justice for the mobile poor. Although the EAB first came together as a board in June, it took many months of careful planning and organization to make it happen. A big congratulations to our distinguished EAB members and to Ileana Ponce-Gonzalez, who took the helm in organizing this fine group.

To celebrate, we created a one-page summary of the EAB’s work thus far. We look forward to another productive year ahead! Thank you to our External Advisory Board members for their dedication to MCN!
