So, last week, we got ahead of ourselves. We said it was Black Friday – one week too early! I guess we were a little too eager for the Thanksgiving time off. Our apologies! MCN offices are closed today, but we still have plenty of resources, news articles, research reports, and more to share. Here are five that crossed our inboxes.

While we celebrated in our Weekly Win recently that children ages 5-11 are lining up for the new COVID-19 vaccine (well, their parents are lining up, with the reluctant children in tow), the pace of vaccination is actually slower than that of their older siblings, the 12-15 age group. Another staff member shared a new report released on Wednesday, which highlights the many changing factors that are driving migration from Central America, many of which are climate related: “Charting a New Regional Course of Action-The Complex Motivations and Costs of Central American Migration”

Weekly Win: Amy celebrated this announcement, saying it’s “a good move and will lessen confusion,” although she did note that Moderna will yet to be included: “The FDA Plans to Authorize Pfizer-BioNTech Boosters for All Adults as Soon as Thursday”
