Candace Kugel

Candace Kugel, CRNP, CNM, MS, RN, Director of Performance Improvement and Clinical Specialist, Migrant Clinicians Network

Candace Kugel is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse-Midwife with over twenty years of experience in health care for the underserved. She has worked in various clinical settings, including family planning, migrant health, community health center, and private practice both in the United States and in Latin America.

Edward Zuroweste

Edward Zuroweste, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Migrant Clinicians Network

Dr. Zuroweste combines a full compliment of clinical, administrative, and instructional responsibilities in the various positions he holds. Dr. Zuroweste is the Chief Medical Officer of the Migrant Clinicians Network, Inc. Additionally, Dr. Zuroweste is a Clinical Instructor at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, he is the attending physician for the Franklin and Dauphin County State Health Department Tuberculosis Clinics, he serves as a Staff Physician at Mont Alto Family Practice, in Pennsylvania, and he travels 3-4 times a year to provide clinical services in rural areas of Honduras.

Jennie McLaurin

Jennie McLaurin, MD, MPH, Pediatrician and Health Disparities Specialist, Migrant Clinicians Network

Dr. McLaurin is a recognized national expert in the provision of culturally competent care to mobile and other immigrant populations. Dr. McLaurin has also worked for many years as a prediatrician providing care to migrant and other mobile underserved children.

Michael Rowland

Michael Rowland, MD, MPH, Medical Director, Maine Migrant Health Program

Dr. Rowland is Medical Director of the Maine Migrant Health Program, and a fellow at Columbia University’s Center on Medicine as a Profession. He is board-certified in both Family Medicine and Occupational Medicine, and completed his training in Occupational and Environmental Health at Harvard School of Public Health in 2005. He has worked with migrant and seasonal farmworkers since 1987, in both eastern Washington and Maine, and is on the board of directors of the Migrant Clinicians Network. He is a frequent presenter at national occupational medicine and migrant health conferences.

Karen Mountain

Karen Mountain, MSN, MBA, RN, Chief Executive Officer, Migrant Clinicians Network

Karen Mountain, RN, MSN, MBA has served as the Chief Executive Officer of MCN since 1987. In her capacity as CEO, Ms. Mountain has translated her extensive experience in health care delivery, business and research into the development of broader national primary care policy. Under Ms. Mountain’s direction, MCN has grown into a major international presence.
