Calling All Clinicians!
You probably saw our pop-up window when you reached the website today. If you’re anything like me, you may have closed it before even reading it! This month, Migrant Clinicians Network launched a very short five-question poll -- and we need your help. What’s this short poll about?
Last year, we ran a similar five-question poll asking clinicians from across the country if they had seen any changes in their migrant and immigrant patients’ perspectives on health access. Your responses have helped us better serve and connect health centers serving immigrants and other underserved populations. It gave clinicians a change to voice the many stories they are hearing from their patients, and the results demonstrated that changes in perception were widespread. The poll results were cited in the New York Times, used by researchers and reporters around the country, and informed new resources for clinicians.
What has changed in your community in the last year? Please fill out our short poll -- and then share it. To assure that a wide breadth of clinicians from around the country can provide their experiences, we ask you to please share the poll with five colleagues. The poll is available in English and Spanish, and is open to providers within the health center like doctors, nurses, and medical assistants, and those working in the community, including outreach workers, promotores de salud, and health justice advocates.
MCN’s poll and this post have been paid for by generous contributions from clinicians, health justice advocates, and MCN supporters. We need your support to be able to fund our advocacy work. Please support our work on the intersection of social justice, migration, and health -- make an individual donation to MCN today.
